Course evaluations are set up in Caracal for every course block, for all for all course-based teaching

• Edit phase – As soon as the evaluation becomes available, the course coordinator (according to Osiris data) automatically receives an email from Caracal Support Science. From that moment on, as course coordinator and ‘owner’ of this course evaluation, you can add a text block to the questionnaire.
• Response phase – One week before the exam week, students receive an email containing a link to the questionnaire and a request to complete it within three weeks. After the exams, students receive a reminder email. They then have one more week to answer the questions or adjust their answers. Answers can be edited multiple times after submitting the questionnaire, up until the closing date of the evaluation period. This is possible through a temporary link in the system, which students can also disconnect immediately after completing the questionnaire. From that point on, they can no longer view or adjust their own answers.
• Response (feedback) phase – After the response period closes, the reaction period starts. You will receive an email from Caracal Support Science asking you to respond to the students’ feedback.
• Access – After the reaction period closes, the results are available in Caracal for management and educational committee (EC) members.
